George Caporn, Sales Negotiator at Grosvenor Surrey
Grosvenor Surrey’s latest recruit, George Caporn, has switched treading the boards for treading the pavements of his hometown after joining the Surrey estate agent as sales negotiator.
George, who grew up in Cobham, initially trained at Drama Studio London, where he gained a post-graduate qualification before spending almost a decade forging a career as an actor, working on a number of high-profile stage shows including Oliver.
After deciding to give up acting in favour of following in the footsteps of his mother, who worked as an estate agent in Oxshott for 10 years, George began a new career in property in 2021.
Starting out in London’s Highgate area as a trainee sales negotiator before gaining further experience in Woking, George has now returned to Elmbridge to work after moving to Bookham with his wife in 2022.
He will now work alongside the Cobham office’s sale team, supporting sellers and buyers across Cobham and the surrounding areas.
On joining the Grosvenor Surrey family, George comments: “It’s great to be back in Cobham in a professional capacity. It’s also great to work for a business that requires an in-depth knowledge of local streets, attractions and restaurants – all of which I have after spending the first 20 years of my life in the village. I now look forward to meeting new people, being part of the Grosvenor Surrey team and once again becoming part of the local community.”
Gareth Davies, Managing Director at Grosvenor Surrey, adds: “George not only has star qualities in abundance, but he also has a deep understanding of the local area combined with a passion for property. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team and we all look forward to seeing what’s in store for the property market in 2024.”
